SynthID Pass

SynthID Pass is developing an independent tool to detect and remove imperceptible digital watermarks embedded directly into pixels of AI-generated images, videos, and audio files. Unlike traditional metadata cleaners that only strip file headers like EXIF and IPTC tags, SynthID Pass targets the pixel-level watermarks that Google DeepMind's SynthID technology embeds directly into media. The tool processes multiple file formats including JPG, PNG, WebP, MP4, MOV, MP3, and WAV.

The tool helps creators understand and manage digital provenance across their workflows by distinguishing between two layers of watermarking: metadata records in file containers and invisible pixel watermarks. SynthID Pass is designed for developers, content creators, and organizations who need to inspect, understand, and manage AI-generated media provenance and watermark detection verdicts. Currently in development with early access opening soon.
