About Resona

Resona is an online voice cloning and text-to-speech platform built for creators, publishers, and developers who want studio-quality AI voices without a subscription.

What you can do:
- Clone any voice from a short audio sample (10-30 seconds is usually enough). Each clone costs 250 credits — there is no free tier.
- Turn text into natural speech in 80+ languages, with multiple models for different needs: a stable flagship for most use cases, a classic warm model for long-form narration, and a fast lightweight model for short reads.
- Design a voice from a text description — describe gender, age, and mood, and get candidate voices to choose from.
- Transcribe audio to text, priced per second of audio.

How pricing works:
There is no monthly fee. You top up credits (1 credit = $0.01 of speech engine capacity, $1 = 50 credits) and pay only for what you use: TTS is billed per UTF-8 byte (1,500 credits per 1M bytes), transcription is 0.15 credits per second, and credits never expire. Every deduction is itemized in your dashboard.

Why we built it:
Most voice AI tools lock you into subscriptions before you know if the quality fits your project. Resona flips that: pay per use, with no subscription and no minimum commitment. The service runs on third-party speech infrastructure, so there are no GPUs for us (or you) to maintain — and no markup for idle capacity.

Who it's for:
Audiobook narrators, video creators, podcast producers, game and app developers, and teams that need multilingual voice content at a predictable per-use cost.
